Central venous catheter kits (CVC)

The CVC Kit from Vogt Medical was put together specifically for use in Intensive Care Medicine and in anesthesia. The catheter in the kits is 1-way, 2-way or 3-way, depending on the indication. The catheter itself is made of polyurethane; the guide wire is flexible on both sides and J-curved on one side, depending on the user’s needs.

Description:

  • The kits are used for long-term central venous access for intensive infusion and/or transfusion therapy, invasive central venous pressure measurement and for blood collection
  • They are inserted using the Seldiger technique
  • J-wire design enables single-handed use
  • Guide wire is inserted through a Y connector or a special introducer syringe (insertion through syringe plunger)
  • Single, double or triple lumen catheters
  • Markings on the catheter surface facilitate catheter depth adjustment
  • Radiopaque catheter material enables monitoring of the catheter position
  • The tip is manufactured from particularly supple medical grade polyurethane
  • Atraumatic catheter tip design enables the catheter to be attached safely, comfortably and gently on the skin
  • The sterile tray for the complete set can be passed to the attending physician in the sterile area
  • Range of introducer needles diameters and lengths allow selection according to application
  • Attachment clips for catheters
